"Model" means a product whose design and function are distinguishable from the other Electrical Appliances and Materials and to which a peculiar name was given for the purpose of identifying it.

"Basic model" means the model that received Safety Certification as a sample among the models of the Electrical Appliances and Materials whose basic structure related to electrical basic circuit and electric safety is similar.

Modification model means a model whose basic circuit and basic structure is similar to the basic model, with regard to which the parts specified in Annex 1 were notamended and to whose function was added or removed or to whose shape was changed.

when special factory audit is required (ex : serious product defection is found in the market)

"factory inspection" means visiting the factory which manufacture the electric appliance subject to safety certification and checking the manufacturingㆍinspection facilities and technical competence.

"The inspection of product on market" means checking the compliance of electric appliance subject to safety certification which is distributed in market with safety standards.
